Zaanse Schans

Zaanse Schans,

Sometimes you just have to do some patriotic things in life and visit some of your national treasures.  One of them in the Netherlands is the Zaanse Schans, old pure Dutch. Reason for me to visit was that a fathers friend of mine owns the pancake house ‘De Kraai’, and the other one is that I wanted to see were Albert Heijn started his first store (and as you might know now build up a huge emperium)
